Symentic Update.si today introduced its devices and NetBackup FILESTORE that are designed to offer customers more flexibility in the choice of backup software and hardware based and storage.
Hardware-based offerings, NetBackup FileStore 5200 and N8300 comes with the software pre-loaded, according to Symantec. "Convenience is a factor," said Colin Davitian, director of product management for Symantec's storage group and Availability Management, saying it reduces the time and effort in the initial setup.
